The main area in Bitola and it's pride and joy. Our wedding venue is right at the heart of this pedestrian street. Make like a local and walk up and down over and over again. Stop in a café for a quick coffee and cigarette, possibly a refreshing beverage. Continue your stroll for a sit down meal or a quick bite to eat. Definitely do not skip the many bakeries with sweets and ice cream displayed in the windows. Take notice of the café chairs all sat facing the walkable strip - people watching in Bitola is the main pastime. Keep an eye out for the local habit of subtle waves of "hello" because everyone essentially knows everyone in this city.
Hike the Baba Mountain! The popular mountain peak is called Pelister, located in Pelister national park. Beautiful nature, highly recommend.
In line with an exploration of Pelister National Park, this ski lodge/hotel/trailhead is a wonderful quick visit and glimpse into the park. A great place for a quick trip into nature. Any taxi in Bitola will take you here for $5-10, depending on the size of your group. The hotel/restaurant staff can call you a taxi back to the city or you can pay the driver to wait (the power of the United States Dollar goes a long way).

Go for a nice stroll in a quieter area of Bitola. At the southernmost end of the City Park you'll find the newly renovated stadium along with a trailhead to "Tumbe Kafe" - a light hike up a hill overlooking the city of Bitola.
An archeological site minutes away from Bitola and one of the most popular spots to visit in the area.
Out of pure luck, the date of our wedding falls on a date that is in the middle of a very popular traditional folk festival named "Ilindenski Denovi" celebrating the deep-rooted culture of Macedonia. As you walk around the city, you will see stages with shows and folks dressed in traditional Macedonian clothing dancing in groups during shows and displays of the culture. Certain theaters and areas of the city offer show programs and details of events. As the schedule of events of this festival is released, we will update this area of the site accordingly.
