Inside the temple is where our sealing will occur. A sealing is the marriage ceremony. Certain members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints can enter to view it. It's not necessary for everyone to be there, since it doesn't last long AND we will have a ring ceremony at the reception as well :) For more information on temple sealings click on this link: https://www.lds.org/temples/what-happens-in-a-temple-sealing?lang=eng
Please do not be offended! We only invited a few handful of people who are able to go inside the temple to view the ceremony. It's very short, and there will be a general viewing ring ceremony for everyone at the reception. We also did not want anyone to feel pressured or burdened to make the trip to Houston and Round Rock within a few days of each other.
Not at all. Like I said before, it's not necessary for everyone to be there since very few of us will actually be able to go inside. Most of your time would be waiting outside. There will be pictures after but mainly couple, family, and some wedding party pictures. If you're wanting to come to just one thing, please come to our reception where we will have a ring ceremony and a fun reception afterwards!
Unfortunately no, but we’ll make a trip out there soon and would love to see anyone and everyone!
