Yes! Our golden retrievers Whaler and Flapjack will be on Block Island! They will be staying downtown at the shop Mad Hatter (224 Water St) during the day. If you are downtown, the shop owner invites you to come by and say hello! :) They will also be in attendance on our big day!

Point Judith has several pay-to-park lots $10-$20 a day near the ferry terminal. We recommend arriving 20-30 mins ahead of the ferry departure time to allow time to walk from the parking lot and get tickets at the counter (unless you purchase the tickets ahead online).
Most of our recommended options on the travel page are within a 10 minute walk to the wedding location. The two closest venues are Spring House Hotel (location of wedding), Atlantic Inn, Rose Farm Inn and 1661 Inn. (Note: 1661 Inn and Spring House have a few off site/remote locations. I would confirm with hotel when booking that the room you are booking is located “on site” if that is your preference.

Welcome Party - Smart Casual (please bring a light jacket as it will be outside in a tent on the water) Women: Sundress, midi dress, nice blouse with skirt/pants, jumpsuits Men: Button-down or polo with chinos/khakis. Loafers, dress shoes. Blazer optional
Wedding ceremony will be on the Spring House Hotel front lawn. Reception will immediately follow the ceremony and will also take place at the hotel. Please note: ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside (weather permitting). Dinner will take place on a tented patio. Dancing after dinner will be inside the hotel. Please consider bringing a jacket/shawl if it is projected to be cool the day of the wedding.
The wedding will take place at the Spring House Hotel, just a 5–10 minute walk from town and most hotels. For guests staying off-site or in an Airbnb, taxis are readily available on the island. Following the celebration, taxis will be lined up at the Spring House Hotel to ensure an easy ride back for anyone who prefers not to walk. The ceremony starts at 5pm on Saturday, September 13th. We invite guests to arrive early (4:30-4:50 PM) for a signature Block Island drink.
Wedding - Formal (ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner will be outside. Dancing will be inside) Women: elegant maxi or midi dresses, or sophisticated cocktail dresses Men: suit and tie. Tuxedo not required but welcomed.
