Governor’s Palace | Tryon Palace
If you feel like driving to our sweet little New Bern (about 45 minutes from Jacksonville, 20 minutes from Maysville), check out the historic Tryon Palace and all its lovely gardens!
New Bern
It's where we call home! Downtown is full of shops, restaurants, and bars. It's easy to walk through, and we are happy to recommend our favorite stops: Baker's Kitchen (the chicken and waffles are to die for!), Blue Magnolia (super cute purses and jewelry!), Bella's Cafe (coffee and snacks!), and Franklin's Antique Mall (you can spend hours there!)
MumFest
Mumfest will be happening this weekend! If you’re staying in New Bern, you won’t be able to miss it— lots of vendors, fried foods, and even some rides! Definitely a fun New Bern experience!
