Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all members of your family, this is an adults only event. We understand that many of our guests are coming from out of town, and some travel is not possible without children. So if you have a legitimate childcare need, please let us know and we will work with you to provide childcare services.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding, like us, will lean more towards the casual. We want you to be comfortable so you can celebrate with us all night long! That being said, no jeans, no shorts, (and no jean shorts).

Your invitation will indicate whether or not you are permitted a Plus One. If you're unsure, just ask!

What day is the wedding???

Understandably, you may be confused about the actual date of the wedding since you probably got a Save the Date for October 28. After booking our venue, and sending our Save the Dates, we were regretfully told that our venue/date had been double booked. After carefully considering all our options, we chose to change the date to September 28th and keep our original venue. However, a few days after making this decision, we received another phone call. Double booked AGAIN. So, we discussed, called around, negotiated, etc. and were able to secure a new venue in Maysville, NC for October 12. We believe that the good in this far outweighs the bad, and we are looking forward to celebrating with all of you!
