The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be taking place at the Intercontinental D.C. Wharf. The wedding will be completely indoors, however there will be time during cocktail hour and the reception to step outside to visit the wharf.
We have reserved a block of rooms for the weekend of 4/28-5/1 at the Intercontinental D.C. Wharf Hotel to accommodate wedding guests! Please visit the "Travel and Accomodations" tab on the website for further information on how to book a room at the discounted rate. There are many other hotels in the area as well! While we do not have any reserved rooms at other hotels, many hotels are a close walk or Uber ride away.
IF YOU ARE STAYING ONLY FOR THE EVENT (and need parking only for the night of, not staying at the hotel): Recommend valet parking at the front of the hotel. The wedding rate for valet for the night of the wedding is $28, however you must leave before 4 AM or else the parking rate increases. You may also self park at the Colonial Parking garage (see below), however if you plan to stay more than 3 hours, valet parking will be cheaper with the wedding discount. IF YOU ARE STAYING OVERNIGHT AT THE HOTEL: You may still valet park your car at the front of the hotel, however overnight valet will be $58. A cheaper option is to self-park at the Colonial Parking garage, located at 800 Maine Ave SW. As of today, the 24 hour rate for Colonial Parking self parking is $38, although subject to change. There are other surface lots further from the hotel available for $25/day, please visit https://www.ecolonial.com/locations/wharf-dc-parking/ for more details. The nearest Metro stations are L'Enfant Plaza Station (600 Maryland Ave St) or Waterfront-SEU Station (399 M St SW). Both are an 11-minute walk away.
