Jonathan claims we were friends (honestly, acquaintances at most) in middle school. Jonathan posted on Hannah's facebook page a couple times to ask about 8th grade and that's apparently when the spark started! We lost touch for over 10 years until reconnecting when Hannah was in medical school in Baltimore and Jonathan was finishing his post-baccalaureate studies at the National Institutes of Health. We both enjoy hiking with our dogs Mia and Copper, singing along to music in the car, and eating at as many restaurants in Baltimore as we can.

Jonathan spent one year in NYC to complete his Masters degree in Human Nutrition at Columbia University, while Hannah continued with her 2nd year of medical school at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. Jonathan then got accepted to dental school at University of Maryland and moved back down to Baltimore!

The past 4 years we have been fortunate to be able to spend together in Baltimore, with Hannah starting a 5 year residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center and Jonathan continuing his dental school education.

Jonathan was recently accepted into a one year General Dentistry Residency at Mount Sinai in Manhattan, NYC! Although we are back to doing long distance, we are excited to explore NYC again!
