Officiant
Father Anthony has been a close part of the Golonka family ever since his early years as a seminarian. Welcomed in as one of their own, he has remained connected with the family throughout the years. Hans and Hannah are honored and incredibly excited to have him officiate their wedding at St. Andrew’s.
Maid of Honor
Clara Anne is Hannah’s youngest sister, and according to Hannah, she is “full of life!” Clara has a gift for lighting up any room with her humor and bringing joy to everyone around her. She cares deeply for each of the Golonka girls—and for Hans—always knowing how to make them feel loved. As the youngest of the Golonka clan, she holds a special place in the family, and Hannah wouldn’t want any other younger sister but Clara.
Best Man
Inseparable since birth, Dean has been a menace in Hans' life but has remained a strong influence in who Hans is as a man. From being forced by Mom to bring Hans along to track practice and hangouts with friends, to willingly moving to Arizona to follow Hans as he moved across the country to be with Hannah. If you know Dean, you know Hans and vice versa. A family joke is that Hans would always copy Dean when they were kids but as adults, Dean has been seen as the copy cat in sharing Hans' love of guns, 4 runners, and Arizona. Early morning shooting range days to late night Loves gas station hotdogs, "Deans little Shadow" is honored to now call Dean his Best Man.
Maid of Honor
Kayla Jean is Hannah’s oldest sister. For much of their childhood, it was just the two of them—sharing a room, toys, clothes, and countless memories. As they grew up, Hannah and Kayla formed an unbreakable bond, rarely seen apart at family gatherings or even on simple car rides. Some of Hannah’s favorite memories are the late-night talks they shared about life, boys, and faith. Their closeness shaped Hannah’s childhood, and Kayla will always hold a special place in her heart.
Groomsman
The oldest Flores Boy. Don't let his goofy punchlines and iconic laugh fool you, he is ready to pull out the "teacher sneer" especially whenever Hans and Dean need some straightening out. Hans was formerly known by Adryan's highschool soccer teammates as "Adryan's Mini Me". Adryan loved taking me along to meet his friends and always brought me alone for adventures (usually adventures involving making it home with less than fumes in the gas tank) Without Adryan's love and care for Hans ever since he was a child, Hans would never have formed the view he has on love today. Adryan always aimed to love Hans unceasingly. Adryan's Leading his life through his Catholic faith he has stood as a star to shoot for in Hans' own faith life. His devotion to the Lord will always guide Hans to want to do the same.
Maid of Honor
Madelyn Rena is the fourth Golonka sister in the family. Mady is truly the best—Hannah will always stand by that! Growing up, she was Hannah’s little copier in the sweetest way. Whatever boy band Hannah loved or pop-culture obsession she had at the moment, Mady was right there loving it too. Their shared interests became some of Hannah’s favorite childhood memories, and Hannah can’t imagine growing up without Mady by her side. And fair warning—if Justin Bieber or One Direction come on at the wedding, you best believe Mady and Hannah will know every single word.
Groomsman
Imanol and Hans have a friendship that can only be described through prayer and and jokes only they would understand. Their brotherhood is tied in Christ after meeting at the same camp and same year that Hans met Hannah. In fact, when everyone met in the San Antonio Airport, Hans sat next to Imanol and directly across from them sat Hannah :) Imanol is Hans' go to when a complex Catechetical conundrum needs airing out. Without the love and guidance provided by Imanol, Hans would not be the striving Catholic Man he is today. Imanol and Hans' friendship is the perfect storm of "brown jokes" and "Catholic Apologetics".
Maid of Honor
Elizabeth Grace was the surprise baby of the Golonka sisters—just when everyone thought there would only be four, Mom and Dad said, “Let’s do five!” Hannah loved holding Liz and taking care of her when she was little. Liz was the bright-eyed baby who wouldn’t take off her Sleeping Beauty dress growing up—and yes, the plastic heels that click-clacked everywhere she went. Full of dreams and wonder, Elizabeth brings light and joy to the Golonka family. She is a bright young woman with a beautiful faith, and Hannah is so proud of the person she is becoming each day. Lucky for Hannah, Elizabeth and Clara will still live just six minutes away, keeping their bonds close and strong.
Groomsman
Hans' Token Army ROTC friend and college roommate. "Hans I will stay back and run with you so you're not alone" Little did Hans know that this kind gesture was actually just a ploy to mask that Jared was tired of running too and also couldn't keep up with the rest of the company. Jared has been on of Hans' longest lasting friendships spanning from their time together in Army ROTC. He has been a first in line friend to lean on when Hans needed a distraction from the world and just wanted someone to see him for who he is. Jared and Hans never shied away from a friendly (usually unfriendly) prank war in the dorm room or sharing a mutual distaste in communism.
Maid of Honor
Emilee Nicole is the Golonka’s third and middle child. Hannah could say so much about each of her sisters, but Emilee is simply the coolest! She has a God-given gift for singing—just ask her to share it, and you’ll see. Hannah fondly remembers countless car rides blasting Post Malone songs with Emilee, and now she can’t hear “Up There” without thinking of her. From coffee runs to drives home, their car rides were always filled with music, laughter, and memories that Hannah will treasure forever. Emilee is the glue of the Golonka clan and has one of the biggest, strongest hearts in the family.
Man of Honor
HOOOAHHH. Jonny is a Captain in the Army Corp of Nurses. A seemingly unlikely friendship turns into one that could outlast them all. Jonny is the man that pops into your brain when you think of the words "southern gentleman" "old school romantic" and "man of God". Hans has known Jonny since freshman year of highschool when Jonny helped Hans unload his luggage for the Catholic "Discovery Retreat" where Hans and Jonny would later serve for 6 more years as leaders. Jonny has taught Hans everything he knows about how to court a woman and how to make her feel special and loved. So one could say that the relationship that Hans and cultivated can be attributed to the "slick moves" and "chivalry" Jonny had instilled in Hans.
