What hotels do you recommend?

Answer

We do not have an official hotel room block for our wedding guests. However, we will be staying at Hotel Polaris (8989 North Gate Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80921), and the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott (15275 Struthers Rd., Colorado Springs, CO 80921) is another convenient nearby option. Of course, we encourage you to stay wherever best suits your needs and travel plans.

What is the dress code?

Our dress code is semi-formal. We encourage guests to dress for a special evening of celebration, with suits and floor-length dresses preferred. We kindly ask guests to avoid overly casual attire such as jeans, shorts, and athletic wear.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same venue?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Hearth House Venue. Originally the town's post office, the historic building has been thoughtfully transformed into a beautiful event space that will host our entire wedding celebration.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive around 3:30 PM. This will give you ample time to park, find your seat, and enjoy the venue before the ceremony begins at 4:00 PM. All guests should be seated by 3:45 PM.

What happens if I arrive late?

Answer

To avoid interrupting the ceremony, guests arriving after 3:45 PM may not be admitted until the ceremony has concluded. We appreciate your understanding and encourage everyone to allow extra travel and parking time

Answer

The venue has a small parking lot that may fill up quickly. Street parking is available nearby, so we encourage guests to arrive around 3:30 PM and allow extra time for parking and finding their seats before the ceremony begins.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We'll be providing an open bar for our guests to enjoy. Please remember to bring a valid photo ID if you plan to drink. We also encourage everyone to plan ahead for a safe ride home by arranging a designated driver, rideshare, or other transportation.
