Our Love Story

It all started in middle school, kind of. We technically met back then, but let’s be honest, middle school doesn’t count for much more than awkward small talk and questionable haircuts. Fast forward several years, and fate, or a very well-cast community play, brought us back together. We both showed up to a local theater production in our hometown. Hannah was there to support her cousin Willow, and Garrett was there for his sister’s boyfriend’s mom. Naturally. Garrett spotted Hannah and immediately wanted to say hi, but wasn’t totally sure if the guy with her was her brother or someone else. Spoiler, it was definitely her brother. Playing it safe, he slid into her Instagram DMs instead with the smoothest of lines. Hannah replied right away, and fun fact, she still had his number saved in her phone. From there, things just clicked. We dated long distance for a while, but as it turns out, FaceTime is no match for real-life hugs. So we closed the distance, moved in together, and somehow fell even more in love in the everyday moments, late-night gaming sessions, chasing our cats around the house, planning our next adventure, and laughing at the same memes way too many times. Then came Mexico, and rain, torrential, soaking, rom-com-level rain. Garrett proposed in the middle of it all, and Hannah said yes, soaked and smiling. They say rain is good luck, and if that’s true, we’re set for life. Now we’re counting down the days until we say “I do,” surrounded by all of you, the people we love most.
