Hannah and Erich first met through mutual friends in the summer of 2016. Though they crossed paths a few more times over the years at parties and out in New York City, they didn't begin dating until they reconnected two years later and sparks flew!

When Hannah and Erich first started dating, Erich lived in Brooklyn near Dumbo so the couple spent a lot of time in that neighborhood. After moving to Jersey City in 2020, they hadn't been back in a while, so Erich planned a day out in Brooklyn. They took the ferry into Brooklyn Bridge Park and enjoyed a sunny summer afternoon before Erich proposed along the waterfront with beautiful views of Manhattan and the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges.
