Flight

Puerto Vallarta International Airport

All guests should fly into Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR). The airport is small, easy to navigate, and there are direct flights from many major U.S. cities. All travelers will need a valid passport to enter Mexico.

Travel Note

Booking Transportation to Sayulita

Private Transportation: We recommend booking a private car service ahead of your arrival, especially if traveling as a group. Drivers will pick you up at arrivals. We've included a list of reputable companies in the “View” button below. Taxi: Inside the PVR airport, you can pay for a taxi at the booth by the exit doors. Uber: Please note that the pickup area is a short walk outside of the airport. Sayulita is a very safe and walkable town with limited parking, so we suggest that you do not rent a car. Please note: There are no Ubers available within Sayulita, so you'll need to arrange your return transportation to the Puerto Vallarta airport ahead of time. Your accommodations may offer to help book transportation for you, or you can schedule round-trip service ahead of time.

Accommodations

We recommend that all of our guests book their accommodations in Sayulita, a laid-back and safe beach town about 45 minutes north of the airport. We are staying in the North End neighborhood near Don Bonito Hotel. Sayulita has four neighborhoods: North End, South End, Central, and Gringo Hill. You can walk from one end of town to the other in about 15 minutes. Find information on each neighborhood at the "View" button below. There are amazing Airbnb options available throughout Sayulita, and we encourage you to browse through listings for yourself or for a larger group: www.airbnb.com If you prefer a hotel over a vacation home, we listed a few popular options near where we're staying on this page below. If you have any questions on neighborhoods or accommodations, please reach out to Hannah or David—we're happy to help. Please Note: If you choose to stay outside of Sayulita, please plan your own transportation to and from the wedding venue and welcome party.

Packing list

Comfortable walking shoes, sandals, bathing suits, casual clothes (shirts, t-shirts, shorts, dresses), sunscreen, sunglasses, hats. If you forget any of these things, they are widely available in pharmacies and shops throughout town. We recommend packing ear plugs in case you're staying close to the center of town or if your accommodations have any construction or roosters closeby.
