We are staying on the north end of Sayulita, near Don Bonito Hotel. The north end is quieter, feels more laid back, and has easy access to the beach. Check out our Travel page for more information.
We highly recommend bringing pesos to Sayulita. You can get pesos from your local bank or your departure airport. There are also ATMs inside the Puerto Vallarta airport. While many restaurants and shops in town accept credit cards, it’s best to have pesos on hand for transportation, street food, markets, small vendors, and tipping (10-20% is standard for transportation, restaurants, and services).
Shuttles will be provided between Sayulita and the wedding ceremony at Martoca Beach Garden on May 16, 2026. Pickup locations and full details will be shared closer to the date! Please organize your own transportation to and from the venue if you plan on staying outside of Sayulita.
You're welcome to bring your kids to Sayulita, but our wedding ceremony and reception will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a night off and can celebrate with us!
Bring comfortable shoes! Getting around Sayulita is easy, though you may encounter a few steep hills outside of the downtown area. Golf carts are widely available to rent and are a fun and popular way to get around town. Check out our website's Things To Do page for some of our favorite places in Sayulita.
We were introduced to Sayulita when our friends got married here in 2023. We loved everything about the safe laid-back town: the walkability, delicious food, easily accessible beaches, and the ability to make the experience your own. You can book a beachfront vacation home or stay in the lively heart of town. Make reservations for dinner or walk up to amazing street tacos. Order a cerveza on the beach or decide to get a relaxing massage to the sound of waves. We hope you'll experience and enjoy Sayulita as much as we do.
