Our Nation's Capital
If you are interested in extending your trip to Virginia into a longer end-of-summer vacation, Washington D.C. is only two hours north of Richmond and is full of things to do! We love spending a day in the city learning about and seeing monumental parts of American history. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Washington-IAD Airport are in the area.
Beach Vacation
Virginia Beach, our home, is less than a two hour drive from Richmond. Chick's Beach and the Oceanfront are the perfect place to be in August. If you are thinking about a trip to VB, we would be happy to recommend some of our favorite local spots! If you chose to visit the beach, Norfolk International Airport is 20 minutes outside of VB and less than two hours from Richmond.
