When should I arrive in Charlotte?

We recommend guests arrive in time for welcome drinks on Saturday evening! (Immediate family & bridal party will need to arrive earlier, we will communicate with you directly.)

Where should we stay?

Answer

The majority of our family and close friends will be staying in the SouthPark / Montford neighborhood of Charlotte. Many people are choosing to stay in an Airbnb or Vrbo, but you can visit the Travel tab for hotel recommendations.

How can we best travel to the venue?

Answer

We are going to provide a shuttle both to and from the venue for those staying in the SouthPark / Montford area (due to the distance, likely only one trip each way). We may have multiple pick up / drop off locations depending on where the majority of guests are staying. If you prefer, you can also rent a car and drive OR take an Uber / Lyft if you don't mind the distance. Parking at the venue is complimentary and cars may be left overnight if picked up the following morning (if you get a little carried away)!

Semi-Formal: Cocktail or full-length dresses, dressy suits, or elevated separates.

We respectfully request an adult only wedding (with exceptions for our immediate family who have already been informed).

If your invitation includes a guest, their name or 'Guest' will be listed on your RSVP.

Will there be other events?

Yes! All events will be listed under your name when you RSVP.

What time will the reception start / end?

Answer

We recommend you arrive at our venue around 5 PM for a 5:30 PM ceremony and we will be wrapping up around 10:30 PM. Note that if you are driving yourself, there can be a lot of traffic on the highway leading out to Gastonia so make sure to leave plenty of time!

We’re having an unplugged ceremony. We'd prefer if you would keep phones away and enjoy the moment — our photographer has it covered.
