Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ)

Most people typically fly into Montrose airport (MTJ) which is a 1.5 hour drive from Telluride. There are multiple car rental companies and shuttle services to get from the airport. Both Mountain Limo (970-728-9606) and Telluride Express (970-728-6000) are great shuttle options. Please plan to book a shuttle in advance as the seats can fill up. Denver International Airport (DEN)

If you fly into DIA you'll want to rent a car to drive to Telluride, which takes about 6.5 hours. There are many amazing places to stop in Colorado along the way - just ask us for some suggestions!

Telluride Regional Airport (TEX)

Telluride Airport is a small airport about 10 minutes from town. It's the most convenient option but has a limited number of flights and would be more expensive than Montrose or Denver. However, shuttle or rental car fares factored into other airport costs may make this option a good choice depending on your needs.

Getting Around Telluride

THE GONDOLA Whether you're planning to stay in Mountain Village or Downtown Telluride, there is a free gondola that goes between both towns, and to our ceremony venue on the mountain. The ride between Telluride and Mountain Village is 13 minutes and the gondola runs 6:30 a.m.-midnight daily (until 2am on weekends). For full information look here: https://www.telluride.com/discover/the-gondola/ GALLOPING GOOSE BUS (DOWNTOWN TELLURIDE) If you're staying on the Downtown Telluride side of the mountain, you can get around via the Galloping Goose shuttle. This free shuttle runs every 20 minutes between 7 am and midnight daily, and stops are located every few blocks. DIAL-A-RIDE SHUTTLE (MOUNTAIN VILLAGE) If you're staying in Mountain Village, you can get around via the free Dial-A-Ride Shuttle, which operates daily between 6:30am and midnight. The Madeline is in Mountain Village, and from here you can walk to the gondola that will take you to San Sophia Station for the ceremony.

The Mountainside Inn is in the town of Telluride along the San Miguel River. It is a 5 minute walk to the free gondola that takes you to our venue. Camping!

If you have the gear and feel like camping, there are a number of great campsites in Telluride, including the Telluride Town Park Campground. It's directly in the town of Telluride and an easy walk to everything. There are nice bathrooms with showers and it is next to the Town Park.
