FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Guests should arrive from 12:30pm. Bubbles will be flowing and we kindly ask everyone to be seated before the ceremony begins.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Black Tie. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a tuxedo or dinner jacket, and ladies are invited to dress to impress in evening wear. (We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white or black dresses.)

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, invitations are addressed to the specific people invited. If your invitation includes a guest, their name will be listed on your RSVP.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, this will be an adult only celebration.

Question

Where is the venue?

Answer

The wedding will take place at Botleys Mansion. Full address and directions can be found on the Venue page of the website.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is free parking available at the venue for guests.

Question

How do we get home?

Answer

Taxis and Ubers are easy to arrange from the venue, and we recommend booking transport in advance if possible.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors?

Answer

Yes - most of the day will take place inside the mansion, so the weather shouldn’t affect the celebrations. However, some photographs may be taken outside, particularly for the bridal party.

Question

What time will the wedding finish?

Answer

The last dance will be at 1:30am, so bring your dancing shoes.

Question

Do you have a gift list?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. However, as a few people have asked, we have created a small honeymoon experience list for anyone who would like to contribute - though there is absolutely no expectation.

Question

What if I have dietary requirements?

Answer

Please let us know when completing your RSVP so we can ensure the venue can accommodate you.

Question

Can we take photos?

Answer

We would love for you to take photos throughout the day. However, we kindly ask guests to put phones away during the ceremony so everyone can enjoy the moment.
