Venue Location

Drumtochty Castle is located in Aberdeenshire, which is in the Northeast of Scotland. The nearest big city is Aberdeen, and is 30-40 minutes away by car. Edinburgh and Glasgow are 2 hours away by car or 1.5 hours by train.

Flights

We have two recommendations for flights: 1) Fly into London, then fly into the Aberdeen airport (ABZ). The flight from London to Aberdeen is about 1.5 hours. London is an amazing city, so if you go with this option we would recommend staying a few days and exploring before heading to Scotland! Flights from the US to London are usually cheaper than direct to Scotland, so this could be a more affordable option! 2) Fly into Edinburgh, then train to Aberdeen. Edinburgh is also an incredible city with tons to see and do, so if you go with this option we would also recommend staying a few days here before heading to Aberdeen! Accommodation at Drumtochty

Drumtochty Castle has overnight accomodations on the property for every guest. These rooms are about $240 per night and include breakfast. This would be our recommendation for guests, because the venue is in a rural area, and we will have multiple events during the wedding week, all taking place at Drumtochty. Hannah & Carson will be in charge of coordinating room assignments with the venue. If you would like to stay on the property, please reach out to either of us and we can go over the costs/the layout of each room with you. Room assignments & payment will be due 2 months before the wedding. No rush, you have plenty of time to decide if you would like to stay on the property! Rental Car

If you are looking to explore Scotland's countryside and stunning scenery, we would recommend renting a car! Drumtochty Castle is also accessible by car, so this is a great way to get to and from the venue. We used Arnold Clark Car Rental when we were in Scotland and they were great!
