Things To Do

We are so thrilled to have people traveling to the place we call home! We hope you are able to explore our beautiful state as part of your trip to celebrate with us.

Garden of the Gods

Colorado Springs, CO 80904

The place where we first discussed moving to Colorado and where we would eventually get engaged -- this park is eternally special to us! It is free to visit and the walkways are paved :)

Mueller State Park

21045 Colorado 67, Divide, CO 80814

It will be a little early for the Aspen color change, but we love this state park! Take a morning walk in the woods near your lodging before our celebrations.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

4250 Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80906

Hands down, the best zoo we've ever been too. Be prepared that it is built into the side of the mountain! Pet giraffes, interact with wallabies (loose running around!), and see a sloth climb a tree within arm's reach. We are members and if you've visited us, no doubt we've dragged you here!

Ivywild School

1604 South Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80905

A fun local spot for anyone spending a night in Colorado Springs. This is a public school that has been turned into a co-op of bars and food! Highly recommend for a unique happy hour.

Pikes Peak Cog Railway Peak Station

515 Ruxton Avenue, Manitou Springs, CO 80829

America's mountain! We have an emotional attachment to Pikes Peak and often fawn over her during our shared morning commute. If you didn't know, the writer of America the Beautiful was inspired by their summit of this peak. WARNING: we really encourage you to take the train if you'd like to summit Pikes, since the road is very intimidating to drive and the slower climb of the cog railway helps to adjust to the rising altitude (and limits the time at the top). Otherwise, you can just awe at her majesty from as far away as Denver, and from our ceremony site ;)
