A variety of companies (Allen Marine, Gastineau Guiding, and Juneau Whale Watch are some of the most popular) offer 3-4 hour whale watching tours where you are guaranteed to see a whale. Such an incredible experience and definitely something to splurge on if you're in Juneau!

Whale Watching

Cable tram up to Mount Roberts with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Options for hiking around at the top, as well as a restaurant and gift shop.

Goldbelt Tram

A Juneau classic, lots of hikes in the area and opportunities to see bears and other wildlife.

Mendenhall Glacier

Shopping, souvenirs, food trucks, and a long boardwalk by the water.

Downtown Juneau

Beautiful spot out the road with a labyrinth, old church, and possible whale or sea lion sightings if you're lucky.
