Where is the wedding located?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will be held at the Grand Island Mansion, located at 13415 Grand Island Road, Walnut Grove, CA 95690.

Will the event take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outside in the front yard of the mansion. Our reception will be held both indoors and outdoors. Check back for a more detailed schedule as our wedding date approaches.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We recommend our guests to wear semi-formal attire. Remember to wear comfortable shoes to dance the night away with us!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive a minimum of thirty minutes prior to our start time to ensure that our ceremony begins as scheduled. Any guests that arrive after the ceremony has already begun will kindly be asked to wait until our champagne welcome to join us.

Is there onsite parking?

Answer

Yes. Parking can be found on the main road in front of the mansion, as well as in the parking lot behind the venue.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Following our ceremony our guests will be welcomed with champagne and hors d'oeuvres. Our dinner service will be buffet style with choices of beef, chicken, and fish, as well as vegetarian options. We will also have a dessert bar and espresso station.

Will there be vegetarian/gluten free options?

Answer

Yes. Please notify me of any dietary restrictions/allergies in advance.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Our open bar beverages include beer, wine, and champagne. Hard alcohol is not allowed on the premises and guests will be asked to leave by GIM staff if found.

Will transportation be provided to and from the venue?

Answer

No. Unfortunately transportation will not be provided. We recommend using services such as Lyft and Uber. Please see our "Travel" tab for more information on local hotels.

Can I bring a date? Are children invited?

Answer

Andrew and I are both blessed with big extended families. Our formal invitations will have directions on how to RSVP on our wedding website. Each name will be listed for those who are invited.

What if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! Our formal invitations will have details on how to RSVP and state if you will be "Attending" or "Unable to Attend" on our website. Please contact me for any questions.
