Benbow Historic Inn

[We're staying at the inn] We have a hold on 25 rooms for our wedding weekend. The hold expires on August 6. To get our discounted rate in the room block, you have to call Benbow to make your reservation (707-923-2124) and tell them you're with us. (There is not a "discount code" for booking online, unfortunately. You have to call them) Room Rates & how many we have blocked for each room type: Premium Queen $240 (10), Deluxe Queen $245 (4), Historic King $250 (1), Terrace Petite $250 (1), Premium King $300 (1), Terrace King $325 (8 - these rooms include a private outdoor patio) We're hosting Friday night drinks on the patio, getting married on the back lawn, and having our dinner reception on the back patio. You can bring your dog! Mention this when you book your reservation to ensure you get assigned a pet-friendly room. Another bonus? You have access to the pool and hot tub at the Benbow KOA Campground next door.

Benbow KOA Campground & Cabins

The Benbow KOA is right next door to the Benbow Inn. We do not have any camping sites or cabins blocked or for our wedding, but you can still make a reservation here. Their reservation phone number is 866-236-2697. They have tent sites, RV/bus sites, and cabins. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the inn. The KOA has a pool, hot tub, and a playground. (bonus - guests at the inn also have access to the pool and hot tub!)

Best Western Plus - Garberville

This hotel is in Garberville, just a 5 minute drive north of the Benbow Historic Inn. We do not have any rooms blocked at this hotel - but you're welcome to make a reservation here if you'd prefer to stay in Garberville.

Flight

Eureka-Arcata Airport

The Eureka-Arcata is 1.5 hours north of the Benbow Historic Inn. You drive straight down Hwy 101 or take a crazy beautiful 30 mile diversion through the Avenue of the Giants. Lots of time to explore over the weekend, but add some damn splendor to your drive if you can!

Flight

Oakland International Airport

The Oakland airport is about 4-4.5 hours south of Benbow Historic Inn. More flight options than Eureka-Arcata. If you choose this route, you can add a side trip to Napa or other wineries in Sonoma County. It's a bit of a haul, but a pretty drive.

San Francisco International Airport

SFO is a 4-5 hour drive to Benbow Historic Inn. More flight/airline options than Eureka-Arcata. If you've been dreaming of driving over the Golden Gate Bridge, this might be a good option for you. You can also swing through the wineries in Napa and Sonoma County if you're looking to extend your trip and make it a long weekend.

Santa Rosa Airport

Santa Rosa is about 2-2.5 hours south of Benbow. It's a beautiful drive and might be worth the extra connection to avoid the hassle of driving through San Francisco or Oakland.
