Head to Garberville for lunch or dinner, ice cream, groceries at the Chautauqua Natural Foods store, and shopping.

If you want to see some gorgeous redwood trees but don't have time to drive the Avenue of the Giants, check out the Richardson Grove just a 5 minute drive from the inn.

Richardson Grove State Park

Shelter Cove is a 45 minute drive from the inn. Go hang out on the Pacific Ocean, friends! There is a black sand beach, a brewery, a handful of restaurants, and all sorts of coastal wonder to explore.
