Rachel Grundusky

Hannah and Rachel have been friends since freshmen year when they roomed together at Messiah and quickly became close friends. They bonded over cross country, education classes, and Rachel's love of gospel choir. Since then, Rachel has been Hannah's go-to person for advice, life realizations, and spontaneous adventures. It was her prediction that Hannah wouldn't go on a date with a girl, that led her to prove Rachel wrong and get on Hinge.
Kortnei Confer

Kortnei and Alli met when Alli moved into her place she shared with other wedding party member Becca. Even though she had barely met Alli before, she was very welcoming and they soon learned about the many mutual interests they shared. Through COVID lockdown and the three and a half years that they lived together they grew closer, and she was one of the first people Alli came out to and has always been a great support through her journey to find herself and Hannah.
Leanne Weaver
she/her
Hannah and Leanne met on the first day of cross country camp at Messiah. Throughout college, they became closer friends through many miles of running, especially when they lived together junior and senior year. After college, they lived together again for a year or two with Ally. Leanne played a big role in Hannah's self-discovery and has been a huge supporter of Alli and Hannah's relationship.
Becca White

Becca is Alli's longest friend. They were in school together since first grade and have truly grown up together. They lived together briefly post grad and have seen each other through every stage of life. Alli was always confident that Becca would be a lifelong friend, and she is glad to be proven correct. Becca has always been a great supporter and friend to Alli, and has been a wonderful support to her and Hannah.
Ally Austen
they/them
Ally and Hannah first met when Ally stayed overnight in Rachel and Hannah's dorm during a college visit, but they didn't become friends until later in college when Ally roomed with Rachel. During COVID, Ally would come over to Hannah's apartment (where they were later roomates) on Sundays to debrief how college was going and chat. When Hannah got on Hinge, Ally was the one who recognized Alli from church, leading to their match. Ally also provided insight on many date outfits and other queer culture knowledge.
Kelly Gordon
she/her
Kelly came into Alli's life around the time of COVID, through her friendship with Kortnei. They bonded over similar pop culture interests, and always enjoyed a themed party together. She has always been supportive of Alli through her journey of dating, working through difficult family situations, and finally meeting and getting engaged to Hannah.
Julia Orloff
she/her
Julia and Hannah met freshmen year during camp week for cross country. Their sophomore year, they lived together for the first time and eventually became close friends, bonding over late-night core and other shenanigans. They've remained close friends over the years with phone calls, a trip to Peru, airport pick-ups (by Samantha too!) and many elaborately hosted parties.
Harrison Stough

Harrison and Alli have been friends for over ten years, since their parents joined the same marriage small group. They have been friends through different paths of high school, college, and post grad life, but Harrison has always been a constant source of friendship, encouragement and support. Not to mention he completely rewired Alli's house's electric. He hid in the bushes for an hour in 90 degree weather to get picture and video proof of Alli's proposal to Hannah, a testament to his dedication as a friend.
Samantha Orloff

Samantha and Hannah met when Samantha started dating Julia and she came to senior year apartment dinners with Julia. After college, Hannah got to witness Julia and Samantha's love for each other and how Samantha always models the most kind, generous, and sacrificial love. When Hannah came out, she was grateful for Samantha leading the way and her welcome into the queer community.
Tim Skill
he/him
Tim has been friends with Alli since their parents were a part of the same marriage small group. Tim was one of the first people Alli came out to and has always been so excited to support her on her road toward marriage with Hannah. When Alli thought she would be proposing in Philly (bc she was dumb and didn't check the location of her concert tickets) he rode around the city taking pictures of potential engagement spots for her to consider.
