Stay on NY-17 for about 1.5 miles and then take NY-32 N for about 7.5 miles. Turn left onto Pleasant Hill Rd, and in 0.1 miles turn left onto Taylor Rd. In about 1 mile, Mountainville Manor will be on your left. If you are coming from New Jersey, make your way to I-87 N and take it to exit 16 for NY-17 N toward US-6/Harriman. Train

Metro North (Hudson Line) and New Jersey Transit

Below are the options for traveling by train or bus from Manhattan. OPTION 1: METRO NORTH TRAIN (HUDSON LINE) Take the Metro North (Hudson Line) train to either Peekskill or Beacon, from Grand Central or Harlem 125th Street. Look for trains whose ultimate destination is Poughkeepsie. The ride takes between one and one and a half hours. At Peekskill or Beacon, you may take a taxi, Uber, or Lyft to our venue. The ride takes about a half hour from both stations. The drive from Peekskill traverses a winding mountain pass, which can induce motion sickness in some. If you're worried about this, stay on the train until Beacon. OPTION 2: NEW JERSEY TRANSIT (TRAIN) You may also take New Jersey Transit, which brings you much closer to the venue but requires a transfer. Take the NEC (North East Corrider Line) train from 34th Street–New York Penn Station to Secaucus Junction, NJ. Transfer to the Port Jervis Line and exit at Salisbury Mills / Cornwall Station. It is a five minute drive from there to the venue.

Train

Shortline / Coach USA Bus

OPTION 3: SHORTLINE / COACH USA BUS This option only works if you plan to stay at the hotel Saturday night and Sunday night. The Shortline/CoachUSA bus goes from the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan to Millpond Pkwy in Monroe, NY. From there, you can order an Uber or Lyft to the hotel, which is about five miles away. I (Hannah) have taken the Shortline/CoachUSA buses several times and they have been reliable, clean, and have toilets (no sink, but they have toilet paper and hand sanitizer). The only drawback is that there is no way to track the location of the bus, and occasionally they show up late - but in my experience they make up the time. Instructions: 1) Download the Coach USA app on your phone and purchase tickets on the app. 2) Select your origin: Port Authority Bus Terminal - New York, NY. 3) Select your destination: Millpond Pkwy - Monroe Terminal - Monroe, NY. 4) Press "SEARCH" 5) Select the date: Saturday (they only display the schedule for the upcoming week). 6) Scroll down to the bus that departs at your desired time. 7) Press "BUY TICKETS." (Each trip is the same price and there is no discount for round trips, so you may purchase all tickets at this stage.) 8) Find a return trip on Monday (at your desired time) that goes from Millpond Pkwy - Monroe Terminal - Monroe, NY to Port Authority Bus Terminal - New York, NY. The app will indicate a gate number for the bus that departs from Port Authority. This gate number will be in the 300s or 400s. The gate is easy to find at Port Authority - just follow the signs. About fifteen minutes or so before the bus leaves, people start lining up at the gate. The bus from Millpond Pkwy stops in front of the bus stop sign on Millpond Pkwy, just across the street from the Shortline Terminal Depot store. There is no bench so it's not an obvious bus stop, but there is a sign.
