This wedding weekend will be a more casual affair, focused around celebrating the country in which Hannah grew up as well as her Tibetan Buddhist upbringing. There will be a ceremony at the monastery on Friday November 17th, where Hannah lived until 2004. The following day, there will be a reception in the hills above Kathmandu.
Although Nepal is a developing country with limited infrastructure, it is a very safe place. Travelers should exercise the usual caution when traveling in a foreign country.
Kathmandu and the lower elevations of Nepal are a temperate climate, layers work best. November is a cooler month, with an average temperature fluctuating between 23.6°C (74.5°F) and 7.8°C (46°F).
