Relatively easy hikes that usually take 2 hours or less to complete: 1. Stairs Gulch- Big Cottonwood Canyon, 1.5 miles, 1,000 ft elevation gain. Our favorite easy trail with a cool cave at the top of the waterfall. 2. Mill B North Fork- Big Cottonwood Canyon, 2 miles, 900 ft elevation gain. 3. Willow Lake- Big Cottonwood Canyon, 2.5 miles, 600 ft elevation gain. 4. Cecret Lake- Little Cottonwood Canyon, 2 miles, 500 ft elevation gain. Usually a popular trail. Near several resorts and Oktoberfest. 5. Stewart Falls Lower- American Fork, 3.2 miles, 800 ft elevation gain. Pictured above.
Medium difficulty hikes that take 3-4 hours: 6. Bells Canyon- Lower Falls- 5 miles, 1,500 ft elevation gain, pictured above. Pass a stunning lake midway and reach a waterfall with views of the valley. 7. Broads Fork Trail- Big Cottonwood Canyon, 4.5 miles, 2,000 ft elevation gain. 8. Lake Blanche- Big Cottonwood Canyon, 6.5 miles, 2,800 ft elevation gain. A very popular trail with a rewarding view- go early to beat the crowds. 9. Reynold's Peak via Mill D North- Big Cottonwood Canyon, 6.5 miles, 2,000 ft elevation gain. Gorgeous 360 views at the peak. 10. Cardiff Pass- Little Cottonwood Canyon, 3.2 miles, 1,600 ft elevation gain.
Very difficult all day trails for experienced hikers: 11. Upper Bells Canyon Trail- 10 miles, 4,300 ft elevation gain. This trail is an extension of the Lower Bells Canyon trail (#6)- be sure to stop at the Lower Falls overlook before continuing on. 12. Monte Cristo via Cardiff Pass- Little Cottonwood Canyon, 5 miles, 2,700 ft elevation gain. See 3 peaks along this trail. Includes steep grades and some scrambling required along the ridgelines. 13. Mount Raymond- Big Cottonwood Canyon, 7.5 miles, 3,000 ft elevation gain. 14. Gobbler's Knob via Butler Fork- Big Cottonwood Canyon, 8 miles, 3,000 ft elevation gain. Pictured above. Snow at the peak could make it tricky- be prepared to scramble. 15. Mount Timpanogos- Provo, 14 miles, 5,000 ft elevation gain.

Explore Park City's picturesque main street with shopping, bars and restaurants. We recommend taking the scenic drive through Big Cottonwood to reach Park City from Salt Lake City. Guardsman's Pass is another gorgeous drive nearby. Dress warmer for Park City- it is higher in elevation and chillier than SLC.
