To travel to Portugal, you will need a valid passport. We'd recommend starting this process as soon as possible, as it's quite a lengthy process!

TIME CHANGE: Portugal is five hours ahead of the East Coast! Keep this mind as you fly into Lisbon, as you may experience jet lag. We recommend flying into Lisbon 1-2 days before the celebration to get acclimated to the local time and exploring some of the city. CHARGING: Note that Europe has different wall plugs. You can buy European plug adapters on Amazon. CURRENCY: Portugal, and most of Europe, use the Euro. You can exchange currency at your bank at home to avoid any international fees upon arrival. Make sure your bank/credit card doesn't charge for international transactions if you plan to use credit card.
