Jess has known Marcus since before they were born - that’s the perk of being a twin. As twins, Marcus and Jess share a special bond. He’s more than just a brother to her. He is Jess’ lifelong best friend. Jess is excited and honored to stand by Marcus’ side as his Best (wo)Man as he marries the love of his life.

Hanna and I met through our sorority, Sigma Delta Tau at Purdue, in Spring 2014 . I was a potential big and she was a potential little (even though we’re the same age), both looking to find our perfect matches. After bonding over everything from our love of roller coasters to our love of literature we realized it was perfect. A few weeks later we were matched and the rest is history! 5 years later I’m honored to stand at her side as she marries her best friend and soulmate.

I met Hanna through work and our first encounter was her interview. At the end, we prompted her to ask any questions she had for us. She asked all of us, “If you were an animal, what would you be?” I immediately had an animal picked out that was the perfect fit, only to realize it wasn’t a very “professional” choice. I racked my brain for another animal but found myself drawing a blank. Then, Sarah B answered with the exact animal that had first came to my mind. “She would be a sloth, for sure.” We burst into a laughter and that’s when I knew we were going to be great friends. From there, I bonded faster with her than I ever thought I could with someone and our friendship has grown to the point where even if we don’t work at the same place anymore, we still have each other in our lives.
Bridesmaid
Hanna and I met through work. I met her during her final interview for our Marketing Department with Sarah J (another bridesmaid) and a previous co-worker. The interview went really well (obviously :) ) and I walked away thinking she would be a great fit with us and I was right! Hanna is such a funny, caring and unique person and I'm so glad she decided to apply to work with us! One of my favorite times with Hanna was when my daughter got grounded so I asked if she wanted to go with me to see my favorite Halloween movie Hocus Pocus at the Michigan Theater. We went to brunch, she introduced me to my now favorite store, Ragstock, and then to the movie. She didn't even judge me when I got a glass of wine at 11 in the morning at a children's movie.
Officiant
Kelsey and Hanna first met in 2013 through a Facebook group for the newly accepted Purdue Class of 2017 (even though they both ended up graduating early in 2016!), bonding over John Green books. After getting to college, the two met IRL by coincidence through mutual friends and their friendship blossomed over many dinner dates, Halloween parties, shifts at the CoRec, and study sessions together talking Harry Potter, music, and life – and the rest is history!
