Wedding Party

Meet some of our family and friends making our day extra special!

Haven Bewley

Maid of Honor

Haven has always been my built-in best friend, and the best little sister someone could ask for. She has been there with me - and for me - since the beginning. I am so blessed to live life with her. She is the kind of person who makes life brighter - strong, spunky, beautiful, and a contagious laugh. She is an incredible dancer (from ballet to drill team, she can do it all) and pianist - I love it when she is back home from college and filling the air with music! Growing up together, she has always been a constant source of joy, support, and love. I am so grateful to have her stand by me as my maid of honor. Haven is currently a senior at Mississippi State University studying business, and I am so excited to see where life takes her after graduation and all the wonderful things she will accomplish.

Rachel Knight

Bridesmaid

I got to meet Rachel (and her husband, Tyler) a few months after knowing Ian. I remember being so excited to meet her after hearing such wonderful things about Ian's sister! We all got together for dinner before the first Texas A&M Midnight Yell of the season, and I immediately felt like I had known her for years! Since then, I have gained a precious friend and sister in her. She is one of the most thoughtful, kind, and genuine people you'll meet - and she is also a gifted writer and incredibly creative. She even took photos for us on the day we got engaged! Rachel is currently the manager of Marketing and Communication at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in College Station, and is working towards a master's degree in marketing.

Sandra Hunsicker

Bridesmaid

I first met Sandra when we were in sixth grade at Cambridge School in Pikesville, MD. I was new to the school at the time, but Sandra quickly made me feel like I belonged. We notably bonded one day at lunch over a container of applesauce, and I knew I had found one of my life-long best friends. We even became known as "Sandra Bewley" because we were so inseparable. Ever since, we have been there for each other - even when living over 1,000 miles apart. She has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. She is kind, wise, and so creative. She has the biggest heart for God and for people. She also has the best sense of humor and usually has a great pun to share! Sandra is currently the Volunteer and ESOL Coordinator at the Esperanza Center in Baltimore. She and her husband, John, are currently living in Glen Burnie, MD.

Karson Hagwood

Bridesmaid

I met Karson at the beginning of freshman year at Mississippi State during New Maroon Camp. We then ended up joining Chi Omega together which was so fun! We became the best of friends and spent a lot of time together over the years - this often looked like watching "Merlin" and "The Office" together, laughing over something random in our (tiny) shared Chi O room, going on adventures, or finding critters (yes, we had a pet jumping spider in our apartment senior year - we named him "Jumping Bean"). Karson is so brave, incredibly smart, selfless, so fun to laugh with, and the most loyal friend. Whatever it is, you can have full confidence that she will be there for you and cheering you on! Karson is currently well on her way to becoming a doctor, along with her husband, Spencer, in Durham, NC.

Morgan Ward

Bridesmaid

Morgan and I met in a drawing class at the beginning of freshman year at Mississippi State. One of my first memories was asking her if I could use some of her painter's tape - I had no idea I was talking to one of my best friends! We grew closer throughout college, and even more so as the years have passed. She has remained one of the biggest blessings in my life. Morgan is one of those friends that you can come to with anything and she will listen, give wise advice, share in deep conversation, and laugh with you. She has a way of making people feel so understood and cared for. She will be there for you through thick and thin - you can always count on her! She truly is extraordinary - so kindhearted, smart, and endlessly creative, with a talent and love for graphic design that always inspires me. Beyond her professional gifts, she also recently stepped into one of the most important roles: becoming a mom! She and her husband, Austin, are already the best parents to their daughter, Elaine. They are currently living in Smyrna, TN.

Natalie Albritton

Bridesmaid

I met Natalie in the spring of freshman year at Mississippi State. We were in the same geology lab, and quickly became friends after sitting next to each other. Geology truly "rocks" because it brought me the gift of her friendship! We were able to make a lot of sweet memories in college - from going to the BSU worship nights together, grabbing meals together to catch up and talk about life, and everything in between. Natalie is one of the sweetest and most genuine people you'll meet. She has such a kind and gentle spirit, and she is so easy to talk to about anything and truly be yourself around. She always listens and is there for you with so much care and sincerity. Her faith shines through in all that she does. She is also so smart and very driven - I am so proud of her and the work she is doing at Northrop Grumman in Huntsville, AL as a software engineer. A super cool fun fact about Natalie is she is an accomplished baton twirler and has even shared her skills by giving lessons to individuals and school teams!

Alix Williams

Bridesmaid

Alix and I first met when we were in kindergarten, and became the best of friends over the years. So many of my favorite childhood memories involve her and her family. From laughing on the school bus, having sleepovers, and playing with Webkinz in elementary school to supporting each other in our adult lives, Alix is the best friend anyone could ask for. Even as the years have passed and life has pulled us in different directions on different continents, Alix's friendship has always been so special to me and something I will always deeply cherish. Alix is the kind of person whose kindness and thoughtfulness always leaves a lasting impression on everyone she meets. She is so dependable, so full of joy, always fun to laugh with, and has the biggest heart for helping others. She pours her heart into her work as a provisional school psychologist, supporting students across eight schools in the Wheatbelt Region of Western Australia. She is truly amazing! I am so incredibly honored that she is traveling nearly halfway across the world (over 10,000 miles!) to be able to be here on our wedding day.

Tyler Johnson

Best Man

I met Tyler my junior year of college when he and my sister Rachel started dating. He can tell you that right away I was like the annoying little brother that he never had - probably more so than he ever even thought was possible. There are more than enough stories that Tyler could tell you about me. Like all good older brothers, though, Tyler has been patient and helped me grow and become the man that I am today in countless ways. Through his actions and his words, I have been able to learn so much about what it means to be a good man and a good husband. He is someone that I can always look to for advice about the next steps in life. Tyler is currently working at Baylor Scott and White in College Station as a Human Resources Business Partner. He is also currently pursuing a masters degree in Human Resources Management.

Jacob Dorsett

Groomsman

Jacob and I met back in kindergarten and became great friends playing sports over the years - all the way back to youth soccer together. We grew up playing sports and video games and having fun weekends going water skiing. After high school, Jacob and I both attended Texas A&M University to pursue degrees in Mechanical Engineering. There were many late nights spent doing homework and studying for tests together. These late night study sessions usually included a trip to Laynes or Fuego afterwards and then watching "The Office" or any sporting event we could find. Jacob is currently working at Nucor as a Melt Shop Mechanical Lead.

Clint Duewall

Groomsman

Clint and I met at the end of sophomore year of high school. We became great friends playing sports together over the next couple of years, and getting a chance to work together at his family ranch. After high school, Clint and I pursued Engineering degrees at Texas A&M University where we would also spend a lot of time hanging out playing video games, going to the Rec to play basketball, and other random late night hang outs. We all still get together to play golf when we can, and it feels like we are picking right back up where we left off. Clint just recently finished his PhD in Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University. He is currently working at Bryan Research and Engineering as an Applications Engineering Manager.

Hunter Mack

Groomsman

Hunter and I met in kindergarten. We enjoyed playing youth sports and video games together growing up. I will always remember going over to the Mack’s on Saturday mornings during football season when we were in high school. We would go hang out in his family movie room and watch college football. It was a tradition that I would look forward to at the end of every week. We have made a point to continue the sports traditions after graduating college, and we have gone to Spurs games in Dallas whenever possible. Hunter is currently working for Atlas Copco Compressors as an Industrial Sales Engineer.

Andrew Wickes

Groomsman

Andrew and I met during freshman year of college at Texas A&M University where we had Intro to Engineering class together. After that semester, Andrew pursued Electrical Engineering and I pursued Mechanical Engineering so our paths didn’t really cross much. As luck would have it, Andrew and I crossed paths again at Jacob and Hunter's ring dunk one semester before Andrew graduated. After talking for a little bit, we both realized that we were going to be working at L3Harris after graduation. When it came time to looking for a place to live, Andrew had a spare room at his apartment. While living together, Andrew and I became great friends playing golf together, going to the movies, and hanging out watching sports. Andrew is currently working at Bell as an Electrical Engineer.

Colby Schniederjan

Groomsman

Coach Colby and I met the summer before my freshman year of high school. He was coaching our summer league basketball team. In the three years that he coached at Franklin High School, he quickly became a mentor and role model in my life. After my dad passed, he was right there to help in any way he could. I still think back on the day that we ordered some chicken tenders and pizza and watched the NCAA Basketball National Championship game. Colby is the Men’s Head Basketball Coach at Childress High School.

Jim Kuhlman

Officiant

Jim Kuhlman was Hanna's art teacher her junior year at Dulaney High School in Baltimore, Maryland. He taught art for 42 years, and happened to have Hanna in his class his final year before retirement in 2016. Ever since then, he has remained an invaluable presence in her life, encouraging and inspiring her as both an artist and a person. Hanna and Jim have remained connected over the last decade, keeping each other updated on their lives and their artwork. It quickly became a very special and memorable part of life. Jim is a phenomenal and accomplished artist - his pencil drawings and watercolor paintings are internationally recognized, and his watercolor works are in collections in the US, England, and Bermuda. He is not just an artist on paper, but an artist with his heart and words - someone whose thoughts, depth, and faith leave a lasting impression on anyone he encounters. To have his touch on the wedding day is an incredible honor, and it will resonate far beyond the ceremony itself.

Amelia & Sadie Aldridge

Flower Girls

Amelia is 9 years old and is in 4th grade. She loves dancing and is on a competitive dance team. She also enjoys playing the piano, reading, and being creative with arts and crafts. Sadie is 5 and is in kindergarten. She takes dance and is starting her second year on a competitive dance team. She loves to play dolls and princesses. They are two of the kindest and sweetest girls you could meet! They are the sisters of our ring bearer, Dean. Something that makes their special role in our day even more meaningful is their mom, Sarah, was Hanna's parents’ flower girl at their wedding in 1994. It is an honor to have Amelia and Sadie be our flower girls!

Dean Aldridge

Ring Bearer

Dean is 7 years old and is in 2nd grade. He really enjoys being active and playing soccer, basketball, and golf. Name any sport and he will probably love it! He also takes piano lessons and enjoys growing his musical skills. He enjoys playing video games as well. Dean is so kind, joyful, and dedicated. He is the brother of our flower girls, Amelia and Sadie. He is going to be the best ring bearer ever, and we are so thankful to have him in our wedding!

Rebecca Bewley

Mother of the Bride

Rebecca is Hanna's mom and also her built-in bestie! Rebecca's first calling was working as an elementary school teacher, guiding and encouraging third and fourth graders. When Hanna was born, Rebecca stepped into one of the greatest callings: becoming a mom and homemaker. From that moment on, her focus has been her family, and she has poured herself wholeheartedly into being an incredible wife to Jay, and rearing Hanna and Haven with so much love, wisdom, and faith. She is one of the most selfless people you will ever meet, and will stop at nothing to help those she loves. She effortlessly makes every room she walks into so much brighter. She is strong, compassionate, and always ready with words of encouragement when you need it (and probably some of her famous lasagna)! She has so many talents - she is so creative, an amazing writer, and so knowledgable and insightful. She has a warm and wonderful way of making people feel special - whether it's an encouraging word, sharing in a good laugh, being there to help, or just always knowing what to say. Hanna is forever grateful to have such an amazing mom - one of the greatest blessings one can receive!

Jay Bewley

Father of the Bride

Jay is Hanna's dad - one of her biggest role models. He is always there to lend a helping hand or make you laugh! Jay has been a tennis director for 32 years. During that time, he has touched countless lives. On the tennis court, he is way more than just a coach - an encourager, a mentor, and friend to so many people. He consistently shows people what it looks like to love God and people. He demonstrates so much positivity, integrity, and kindness. He is known for his hardworking nature, and how he pours so much of himself into everything he does. Whether its solving a problem, fixing a car, or offering wise advice, he is always there for you. He likes to say he is a "jack of all trades but a master of none" - but he is a master of a whole lot! One thing in particular is his love for music and being the incredible guitar player that he is. He has even written and recorded his own album: "Blessings" by Jay Bewley. As a dad, he is nothing short of incredible. Hanna and Haven have grown up deeply blessed by his example and love, and are certain that he hung the moon!

Janice Knight

Mother of the Groom

Janice is Ian's mom. She is incredibly kind, creative, and full of love for her family and friends. She has the best sense of humor and is so much fun to laugh with. Every moment with her is filled with joy and warmth. Her home and her kitchen radiate so much love - she is a gifted cook, and if you ever get to try something she made, you are in for quite a treat! She would do anything for anyone, and everyone who knows her can feel just how deeply she cares. Her strength, faith, and grace shine through in all she does. Her career as a teacher and a librarian is another beautiful reflection of who she is. Over 40 years, she dedicated herself to teaching and pouring so much encouragement and genuine care into her first, second, fifth and sixth grade students. Later, she became a librarian, where she continued to share her love of learning and reading with others in three different schools. These titles were much more than a job, but rather a way to live out a calling to nurture, uplift, and inspire. She has impacted so many lives for the better. Ian and Rachel treasure their mom for her wisdom, her selflessness, and her love. She has been one of their greatest examples of faith and resilience.

David Knight

Father of the Groom

David is Ian's dad, and he will be at the wedding with us in spirit. He will have the best seat in the house! David was one of the kindest people you could meet. He had such a big heart for others, and lived an incredible life marked by his love for people and serving the community. He had a gift for encouraging, leading, and uplifting those around him. He poured that passion into coaching for 31 years. Whether he was on the basketball court, the football field, the track, the classroom, or even in the driver's ed car, he was much more than a coach or instructor - he was a mentor, a role model, and friend. His teams and students knew that they could always count on him to be there for them and help them recognize their strengths and potential. Beyond his work, David was first and foremost a wonderful husband and father. He loved his family more than words could say, and always set an example of what it looks like to live a life of steadfast integrity. He will be in our hearts on our wedding day and always.

Norma Hanna

Grandmother of the Bride

Norma is Hanna’s grandmother and has been a source of love, comfort, creativity, and fun over the 26 years they have been sharing life together. Her grandmother name is "Pansy". She says the angels gave her that name. She is very talented in many of the arts whether sewing, writing, painting, or drawing. She has the gift of making magic happen even on the normal days. Through her, the bride has been nurtured in the art of dreaming and creating masterpieces. Norma has touched many lives over the years whether they be family, friends, her past third grade students, her church, or community volunteering. The bride wishes her wonderful grandfather, Pawpaw, could be by Pansy’s side on the wedding day and every day but knows he will be smiling down from heaven. Hanna is proud to share the same middle name Renayee with Pansy and will always carry her grandfather’s last name as her first forever and always.
