Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Hanna Bewley and Ian Knight
We are so excited to share with you some of the places that make Dallas special!
Historic Downtown McKinney

Historic Downtown McKinney

111 North Tennessee Street, McKinney, TX 75069

Downtown McKinney is among the oldest and largest historic districts in Texas. It has shops, boutiques, antique stores, art galleries, places to eat, etc! It has something there for everyone to enjoy. We have been spending more time here lately and have fallen in love with it! We highly recommend Sugarbacon restaurant!

Reunion Tower

Reunion Tower

300 Reunion Boulevard East, Dallas, TX 75207

This tower overlooks downtown Dallas. We highly recommend visiting during sunset. We love going here when we get the chance - it is a special place! It would be easy to spend hours in downtown Dallas - there are so many unique places, such as Thanks-Giving Square, Klyde Warren Park, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Dallas World Aquarium, the Giant Eyeball, etc!

Dallas Farmers Market

Dallas Farmers Market

920 South Harwood Street, Dallas, TX 75201

The Dallas Farmer's Market is a personal favorite. They have shops, restaurants, and a cute gardening and outdoor shop across the street called Ruibal's. There's a spot there called The Shed (open on Saturdays and Sundays) filled with lots of homegrown goodies. You never know what you might find here!

Fort Worth Stockyards

Fort Worth Stockyards

131 East Exchange Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76164

The Fort Worth Stockyards is pretty much as "Texas" as you can get. From shops, western wear, restaurants, cowboys, and rodeos - this spot has it all! On the main street (East Exchange Avenue) there is a cattle drive at 11:30 AM and 4:00 PM everyday. It is the world's only twice-daily cattle drive.

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden

8525 Garland Road, Dallas, TX 75218

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical garden is a 66-acre garden on the shores of White Rock Lake. It features tons of stunning floral displays, koi ponds, themed gardens, and beautiful views of the Dallas skyline. It is one of the top spots for beautiful photography. They have a cafe area (with great smoothies to take with you while you walk around) and a cute gift shop, too!

The Star in Frisco

The Star in Frisco

1 Cowboys Way, Frisco, TX 75034

Any Dallas Cowboys & DCC Cheerleader fans here? This is your place! The Star in Frisco is the 91-acre world headquarters and training facility for the Cowboys. The DCC Cheerleaders also hold practices, events, and performances here. The Star is surrounded by hotels, restaurants, shops, community events, and interactive fan experiences. If you find yourself there, we highly recommend visiting Eqqsquisite Cafe for breakfast/ brunch!
