Helen is, as Julia likes to say, Julia's only older sister and has been a part of her life since Julia was born. Julia looks up to Helen (literally and figuratively) as Helen led the way through many phases of life - going to the same middle school, attending Duke together, living in the same dorm in college, and moving to DC after graduation. Helen has now gone to the West Coast to pursue her passions in edtech, though she still misses living in the same place as her middle sister. When they do reunite, Helen likes to spark the crazy in Julia and be silly chums together.
YeonJun Kim
Man of Honor
YeonJun is the cooler and funnier baby brother of the groom! He has known his brother through the past 25 years of his life: through his big brother bullying, conquering various worlds on the game cube, banding together to rebel to their parents, and continuously serving the role of a mentor throughout Yeon's life. YeonJun views his brother as his hero and consistently tells everyone, "that he was the only reason I got into college." Forever grateful for his guidance in his life, Yeon is honored to celebrate his biggest day with him. YeonJun graduated in August 2019 from Berkeley and is working as a Management Consultant in San Francisco.
Susan Zou

Susan has known Julia since her day one. She has bonded over the years with her older sister in their passions for the creative arts and round animals. Susan enjoys illustrating, crafting, and designing video games. Profession-wise, she graduated from Cornell in May 2019 and is now in the Bay Area doing software engineering.
Auddri Rahman

Auddri has known Julia since the 6th grade, where they were in the same class block. They became fast friends sharing mutual interests like Orchestra, Neopets, and Pokemon. They continued to be in the same classes until college. Nevertheless, they continue that tight bond to this day. Auddri is a 1st-year resident in Boston, MA. Auddri has lived in the PNW her entire life and has no plans of leaving because it is the greatest place on Earth. The quickest way to win her favor is to bring her cake or a solid cup of coffee (not Starbucks). If you're not finding Auddri in a coffee shop or at school (or on a rotation) you will definitely find her watching a movie. She's seen all of the Academy Award-nominated films and is happy to talk your ear off about her opinions.

Hey there! I’m Aurnee. I’ve known Julia since we were 10 years old. Together we’ve shared many adventures across the US; be it from our homes in Vancouver, WA, our brief forays in Seattle and D.C., and our shared time in NYC. I am a proud cofounder of the Smiley-Frowny club, of which the only members are Julia and me. Even though I’m still in NY finishing up residency, Julia is an integral part of my life. I’m so thrilled to be part of her special day!
Mina Pollman

Mina and Julia became best friends through classes, orchestra, Science Olympiad, etc. etc. during the good old Titan days at Union High School. Since moving to the East Coast at the same time, Julia has been a part of Mina's favorite adventures not only in the PNW but everywhere from Duke to DC, Georgetown to Boston, and NYC to NOVA. Mina is so grateful to have such a kind, caring, present, fun-loving best friend in Julia, and can't wait to finally celebrate Julia's big day!
Alice Huang

Alice is in the 16th grade at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. When she is not forced to study, she enjoys traveling, reading, drawing, playing the violin, hiking, and watching poorly written reality TV. Alice had the honor of being dorm buddies with Julia during their freshman year in undergrad and has stuck to Jules like glue ever since. Alice hopes that she will not become a crying ball of joy on Jules' big, big day!
Anna Zhang

I am a UX designer living in Brooklyn. I met Julia in 2017 at our first full-time job at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. We were both graphic designers, sharing the same desk and sitting on the opposite side of each other (and secretly chatting on Slack). Since then, Julia and I have gone on so many adventures and shared so many memories: exploring different restaurants, visiting different museums, going on a ski trip, going to apple and pumpkin picking, hosting Thanksgiving dinner, etc. I am grateful to have Julia as my close friend, she is such a genuine, compassionate, intelligent, and creative person, and one of the most amazing people I have ever met. I am so grateful to be Julia’s bridesmaid and can’t wait to celebrate with her!
