Where Han Jun first said "I love you" and popped the question, Central Park is the largest urban park and has plenty to see! Whether you're just walking around and taking in the view, or just sitting on a bench and people-watching we can't recommend it enough. :)
The destination of one of our first NYC dates, The Met is an icon and has (literally) a million things to do! There's something for everyone, even if art museums isn't in your usual itinerary. Bonus: If you have time, check out some of the Met extensions (the Breuer and Cloisters).
Where to begin with K-town...need we say we go here all the time for food? :P Plenty of restaurants, bars, karaoke and even spas, you can't miss this spot if you're in midtown! Located around 32nd and 33rd streets, some of our top picks are: Pocha 32 (get the watermelon soju!), BCD Tofu House, Her Name is Han
Want to travel to Asia but can't because of the pandemic? Flushing's the next best thing! You'll find tons of restaurants for delicious hotpot, BBQ, noodles, bubble tea...you name it! The pricing here is usually more affordable than the city too. :)
Whether you've been here or not, you've probably seen this iconic Washington Square Park archway in pop culture. A perfect place to gather for people watching, listening to a guy play his grand piano outside, or lounge on the grass. We've come here several times over the years!
You'll get the best views of Manhattan from Brooklyn, and you can try walking/biking across the Brooklyn Bridge (promise it's not that long!). You can treat yourself on either end to delicious food -- if you end up in Brooklyn, we recommend Juliana's (the original Grimaldi's, aka amazing pizza). If you're crossing to lower Manhattan, check out the Seaport district/Pier 17 area or walk yourself up to The Battery park.
A gorgeous art museum that has tons to offer. Not too far from the venue either!
For some good old-fashioned NY pizza, Juliana's is the new establishment from the legendary Lombardi's.
The second largest public park after Central Park. If you're not venturing into Manhattan, a great park to check out!
