What attire should I wear?

Answer

Most of our events will be Summer Wedding or Semi-Formal attire. Temperatures in door county at this time will be ~50-70s Fahrenheit.

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

For guests coming in from out of town, we recommend searching flights into/out of Green Bay, Appleton, and/or Milwaukee. Green Bay (GRB) - 50 Minute Drive to Sturgeon Bay. Smallest airport of the three Milwaukee (MKE) - 2 hours 20 minute Drive to Sturgeon Bay. Biggest airport of the three Appleton (ATW) - 1 hour 20 minute drive to Sturgeon Bay

Where should I stay?

Answer

We encourage guests to book accommodation either using our room block at Best Western Maritime Inn in Sturgeon Bay OR another hotel close to the Best Western Maritime Inn. Please see Room block page for more information. We highly encourage guests staying in Sturgeon Bay to use our shuttles at Best Western Martime Inn. Please see shuttle page for more information. There may be Airbnbs and other hotels available in Sturgeon Bay and other areas of Door County. Airbnbs tend to get booked quickly for summertime. We encourage those staying in Airbnbs and other hotels outside of Sturgeon Bay to carpool to the event. Other towns in Door County include: Bailey's Harbor, Sister Bay, Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, and Ephriam. Please note that our shuttle is going to ONLY Sturgeon Bay, so you would be responsible for your own transport to and from the event.

What temperatures and weather should I expect?

Answer

Door county is about 50s-70s during this time of year. We are hopeful for a sunny day, but we could possibly have a rain wedding. We recommend bringing layers.

How do I get to the Wedding?

Answer

If you are staying in Sturgeon Bay, please plan to take the shuttle from Best Western Maritime Inn. The shuttle will pick up guests at the hotel, and will run every hour from 6pm-midnight to transport guests back to Sturgeon Bay. If you are staying outside of Sturgeon Bay, please plan to carpool as there is limited parking at the event space.

Can I bring my kids to the wedding?

Answer

No. We kindly ask that there be no children at the wedding ceremony or reception.

Question

Will Major be attending the wedding?

Answer

Disappointing the population of Door County and the Wedding Party, Major will not be making an appearance as our venue is not equine friendly. Major does not particularly enjoy sharing the spotlight, so he will be enjoying his day at Sundance Farm under the care of Janaya and Amanda.

What's on tap at the Reception?

Answer

We will be happy to provide beer, wine, and NA options for beverages at the bar for the main part of our event. In addition, we will have 2 signature drinks for the first two hours of the event. If you want more... additional beverages can be purchased at the bar!
