Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Rehearsal Dinner/Welcome Event: Dress code is daytime-casual! For ladies sundresses or pants will be perfect. For the guys jeans or khakis will look great! Wear something you could play mini golf in! Ceremony and Reception: Dress code is formal. For the ladies, you can rock any length dress, a fun jumpsuit, or nice pants and blouse. For the men, a suit or sports coat will be perfect!

Question

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony will be inside the church! Cocktail hour will be outside if weather permits, and then the rest of the evening will be inside!

Question

What can we do in the gap between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

Check out the "Things To Do" tab for restaurants and activity locations! Then at 4pm you can head to The Bluffs at Conner Prairie for the cocktail hour!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We suggest arriving approximately 30 minutes prior to the Ceremony so that the mass can begin on time!

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

Parking is free at both the ceremony and reception! At Our Lady of Mount Carmel you can enter from the entrance on 146th or Oak Ridge and park in the parking lot! The ceremony entrance is through a gate off of Allisonville Rd. drive down the road through the gate and there is a private parking lot for our guests!

Any special directions?

Answer

Make sure when driving to The Bluffs at Conner Prairie that you map yourself to 13080 Allisonville Rd. NOT 13400 Allisonville Rd. Our reception venue is located within a Historical Museum called Conner Prairie. The Bluffs has a private gated entrance off of Allisonville Rd. with private parking!

Answer

We will have hors d'oeuvres at the cocktail hour followed by a plated dinner and dessert. When you RSVP please include any allergies or food restrictions you might have! Included in our menu is a vegetarian option.

Question

How can we get home?

Answer

We suggest planning to carpool with other guests or scheduling an Uber for following the ceremony if you are not comfortable driving to and from the reception!
