Best Man
David is Daniel's brother, and he is the full package: older, wiser, and better at tying bow ties. When David isn't busy being a literal Eagle Scout, you might find him saving lives in an ambulance as a volunteer EMT or practicing law for the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. Did we mention he's the full package? Though David and Daniel live in different states, they love to hang multiple times a summer at their home away from home: The Jersey Shore. Daniel is ecstatic that David is ALSO getting married this Spring and can't wait to welcome future sister-in-law Emma into the family. David's favorite things include; cooking, traveling, reading books very quickly, hitting the gym on the daily, whiskey, finding the best flight deals on the internet, and Emma and David's amazing dog Rosie.
Beth Gillespie
Best Woman
Beth is Katie's sister, and the Best Woman possible to be standing next to her when she says "I do" to Daniel. Together, Beth and Katie have traveled to Scotland, England, China, Canada, Spain, Dominican Republic, Ecuador and Peru! They have run side by side in several half-marathons, two Ragnar Relay races and many a 5K. They are both bossy and bosses and support the hell out of each other in everything they do. Beth's favorite things include; running marathons (finished 19 regular and 3 Ultras), being a brand ambassador for Oiselle (and talking about how awesome Oiselle is), her dog - a wonderful and love-crazed lab-mix named Gnocco, her hubby of 14+ years, Michael (a Sociology professor, at home chef and bread-baker), building garden walls, and scrapbooking!
Vern Hammond
Best Dog
Vern was rescued in 2013 as a stray from Puerto Rico, and has brought so much joy to Katie's life. She immediately adopted Daniel as the third member of her pack and refuses to sleep unless she is physically touching both of them. Vern's favorite things include; eating all the food, drinking only out of cups, sunbathing, taking naps, sitting in her mama's lap, listening to Daniel play his guitar, hiding in her safety-cave from thunder, being an Instagram star (@daysofvern if you aren't already following her), eating all the food and barking at the doorbell.
