Both the ceremony and reception will be at the same location - The Bibb Mill.
Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outside in the courtyard/gardens. The reception will be held inside.
After the ceremony, guests will be invited to enjoy a cocktail hour where guests can mingle and light hors d'oeuvres will be offered by the waitstaff, while we are taking pictures with extended family.
The attire is cocktail or semi-formal. We invite ladies to wear cocktail or floor-length dresses, and gentlemen could wear a suit and tie, or sports coat. However, we want you to look and feel your best, so above all be comfortable with what you're wearing.
We ask that you RSVP by April 1st to ensure we give accurate numbers to the caterers. You can RSVP here on the website or by mailing your RSVP card to the address listed on the card.
You will be missed! If a change of plans occurs and you cannot attend after RSVP'ing, please let us know ASAP so we can correct numbers for catering and seating chart.
The ceremony starts at 5 o'clock in the evening and is expected to last until 5:40. From 5:45 to 6:45 there will be a cocktail hour, followed by the reception where dinner, dancing, and more will take place until the send-off at 10:30.
We have a strict guest list to stay within budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only, and we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
There is a large parking lot at the venue, and we have arranged for an off-duty police officer to patrol the parking lot in an overabundance of caution.
Dinner will be provided and we will also have a large dessert table. For the sake of budget there will not be an open bar, but each guest will receive drink tickets during cocktail hour that can be given to the bartender throughout the night. After your tickets have been used, it will turn into a cash bar.
