We met half way out to sea, on the Puget Sound. We were floating on P Dock at Shilshole Bay Marina in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, WA when we first met. March 2018 we think it was. You will have to come to the wedding to hear the tale. There were immediate sparks, but our first date wasn't until April of 2022 when we went for a walk in the University of Washington Center For Urban Horticulture. When Rachel noticed that Hamilton brought his binoculars to look for birds, and Hamilton saw the different array of dry bags and gear in Rachel's trunk, they knew it was true love. We got engaged on Dec 19th, 2024 while on a hike in the Bisti Badlands Wilderness area of NW New Mexico, a short drive from Durango, CO.
