Cecilia was visiting her family in Arkansas back in 2007 when her aunt dropped her off at a house party with a bunch of people she only knew via AIM chat rooms and MySpace. There was Jimmy and all his high school buddies. A fun night was had and then they both went on with their separate lives in separate states. Thanks to social media, they were able to keep up with each other here and there. Fastfoward nine years to 2016 when Jimmy sent a friendly little message to Cecilia and the rest was history!

Jimmy and Cecilia's first trip together was to New Orleans, LA in 2016. They fell in love with the city and with each other. In October of 2018, while hiking Pinnacle Mountain, Jimmy said to Cecilia, "You know I'm going to marry you one day right?" Then, Jimmy bought a ring and hid it for months. During their fourth trip to New Orleans, Jimmy and Cecilia were sitting in Jackson Square, sweating their butts off, and planning where to get their next drink. Then, as they stood up to head to Tropical Isle, Jimmy pulled the ring out of his pocket and said, "Remember how I said I was going to marry you?" Then he got down on one knee and popped the question!
