Matron of Honor
I met my sister the day she was born. We used to argue endlessly growing up, but through all the highs and lows of life, we’ve always had each other. Somewhere along the way she became my best friend, and there isn’t a day that goes by without her being part of it. Being her Matron of Honour is truly an honour, and I couldn’t be happier to celebrate the next chapter of her life with the person who makes her happiest.

Gracie has always felt like a little sister to me since becoming friends with Abby in high school. From looking out for her at school to supporting each other through early adulthood, watching her grow into such a beautiful and successful woman has been so special. What started as a big-sister bond has turned into one of my closest friendships, and I’m so grateful to have her in my life.

I’m Dylan’s older sister. He was born when I was three and we’ve been best friends ever since. It’s been so nice seeing him this happy with someone who fits him so well, and I can’t wait to call Gracie my sister too. I met Gracie for the first time (along with my entire family) at my mom’s birthday. She had barely even met Dylan at that point, and I remember thinking, wow… this girl is brave. We clicked right away. We have the same weird humor, the same clumsy energy, and the ability to laugh at literally anything. The three of us hang out all the time, and Dylan usually just tries his best to keep up. He’s definitely got his hands full.I’m so excited for them to start their lives together, and I’m honoured to stand beside Gracie on her wedding day.

I am Grace’s older cousin so I have known Grace her whole life. We have grown up together, done holidays together, and been apart of each others lives from the start. Grace and I always looked more like siblings than cousins growing up, which was always so fun, sorry Abby haha!! She will also tell you I used to baby sit her and Abby, and they will tell you I melted plastic on a hotdog…. Please remember I woulda been like 14, and I have gotten better, promise hahaha Anyways… Grace was a bridesmaid in my wedding and I cannot wait to return the favor!

Gracie and I met at the beginning of 2024 when I began dating Caolán (dylan’s best man!!!!) and I instantly knew I wanted to be friends with her!! She has the most fun and most welcoming energy that makes you feel like you can fully be yourself around her and I think that’s so special. It’s hard to pick a favourite memory with G, because everytime we’re together it outdoes the last time! From quadding at her family’s trailer, to spending a weekend at windermere lake, to playing catan and using cheezit crackers as pawns, every memory with Gracie is special!! Our friendship is proof that it is not always the length of the friendship that matters, because we formed an unbreakable bond in such a short amount of time, and I will love her forever!

Six years ago, Brooke started dating Cody, who happened to be friends with Dylan… who just so happens to be the man Gracie is marrying. A classic small-world, meant-to-be situation. Not long after Brooke was welcomed into the boys’ friend group, Gracie entered the picture and the two hit it off instantly. What started as “friends of friends” quickly turned into a genuine, effortless friendship. One of Brooke’s favourite early memories together was a group camping trip to McLean Creek. Somewhere between the dodge-beer, campfire laughs, and questionable decisions, Brooke and Gracie realized they were both a little crazy in the best way, and equally committed to having a good time. From that weekend on, their friendship only grew stronger. Countless laughs, adventures, and unforgettable memories later, Brooke is so grateful that dating Cody led her not only to lifelong friends, but to Gracie - someone she’s proud to stand beside on her wedding day!!!
Best Man
Dylan and I became friends when I moved to Canada from Ireland in grade 4. On my first day of school, Dylan volunteered to show me around school and became my first friend in Canada. During recess on my first day, Dylan invited me to play football with him and his friends and I agreed thinking that they were playing soccer. When I got to the field and realized they were playing a version of football i never heard of before, Dylan helped me learn and feel welcomed as the new kid at school. For over 15 years I’ve been proud to call Dylan my best friend and from things like camping trips, playing in bands together, and game nights with Gracie and Izzi, we’ve made countless memories and become brothers for life. Since Dylan and Gracie started dating, I’ve gotten to watch them build such a beautiful relationship and I’m so excited to have the privilege of being Dylan’s best man on the wedding day of 2 of my most favourite people in the world.

Dylan and I met in our sweet and beautiful years at Our Lady of Peace. Although we didn’t hang out much at the time, fate had a different plan. High school came along, and with it before and after school activities, and with the help of Quinn and Callen, our relationship flowered. Since then we’ve had many adventures; like getting lost in Toronto, all the shows, camping trips, get togethers and many many more. Wishing Mr. And Mrs. Hameluck the happiest wedding day and an even happier ever after. Love you guys!!!

Dylan and I met way back on our first day of school when we were in the same kindergarten class, and quickly became good friends for the long haul! We’ve had a ton of good times together - playing our school’s talent show in junior high, camping at McLean Creek in the summers, and late nights gigs at The Palomino. Whether I’m looking for someone to have a beer with or for advice on how to fix something at my apartment, Dylan’s always the guy for the job. Can’t wait to be up there with him to celebrate his & Gracie’s big day!

I met Dylan back at the start of grade 1 when my parents decided to put me into Dylan’s mom, Shannon’s daycare. I still remember walking down those stairs and seeing Dylan and all the other kids playing, getting along and being nervous about not fitting in, Dylan’s true character shined through and in a short time we became great friends. From many games on the GameCube to fun times in the backyard by the crabapple tree my friendship only grew with Dylan, I’ve now known him for over 20 years, And in that time he has been nothing but a steadfast friend through the thick and the thin. Almost all my fondest memories in life have involved Dylan, All the good laughs while long boarding down in Marshall Springs or on the mountainside snowboarding with him down to just sitting in his old garage or basement talking about life with Parker by his side. I have seen his character evolve over the years from absolute troublemaker and maybe a bad influence into a hardworking, loyal and devoted, selfless man that I’m happy to call my friend and I have been honored to be by his side through it all. With Gracie now as his constant companion I’m excited to see how he changes and as they grow in life together.

Dylan and I have been friends for a long time, and have known eachother even longer. We attended the same junior high school, but didn’t really start becoming friends until high school. One of my favourite memories goes back over a decade ago. We were out camping at gooseberry, less than a 10 minute drive from Bragg Creek. Dylan, Caolan and I wanted to go get ice cream from there and our only friend with a car didn’t - so not knowing such a short drive on the highway would take hours to walk, we set out on our mission. It took the whole day and we even got in trouble with law enforcement for trying to hitchhike. But in the end we were successful - just like this beautiful marriage will be!

I met Dylan through junior high school and we became good friends a few years later. While Dylan’s junior high hijinks made quite the first impression it was the high school hijinks, shared love of music and sports, late nights drinking, and countless times shared since that has led us here. Truly the type of guy to give you the shirt off his back. Congratulations Dylan and Gracie, love you both!
