FAQs

We will add additional wedding FAQs as we finalize details. If you have any other questions just let us know: beckyschmitt@gmail.com or hamblinj@gmail.com
Question

Cab or Shuttle?

Answer

Costs $14/person to take shuttle which will take 1:00 to 1:15 from airport. Taxis are also available for $85 and will take about 45 min. If you are arriving with 4 or more people we'd recommend taking a cab. You can find them on your left after exiting customs.

Question

Should I bring cash?

Answer

The resort is cash free but you can bring cash to pay beach vendors and for a taxi. If you venture into the city credit cards are widely accepted.

Question

For guys - Do you need long pants for anything besides the wedding?

Answer

Guys do not need to wear long pants for anything other than the wedding.

Question

Will my room be charged early?

Answer

Yes - they will charge your credit card for your room earlier than when we arrive. If your card is denied or if you end up needing to make a last minute cancellation you will be refunded your stay minus 2 nights.

Question

My credit card declined, how do I inform them to re-run the card?

Answer

Send us an e-mail and we'll let our wedding planner know to rerun the credit card.

Question

How big are the hotel rooms?

Answer

The one bedroom suite is 950 square feet and can comfortably sleep up to 4 people. It has a full kitchen, laundry and two full baths. There is a king bed in the master suite and a queen murphy bed in the living room.

Question

Do we need an adapter for our electronics?

Answer

No need for any adapters, they use same power outlets as the US.

Question

Are kids welcome at the Wedding?

Answer

Children are welcome at the ceremony but the reception and cocktail hour will be an adult only affair. Baby sitting services are offered by the resort.

Question

Does my passport have to be valid for 6 months past my return date?

Answer

There seem to be mixed answers on this but our opinion is better safe than sorry. If your passport is expiring within six months of your trip your safest bet is to renew it before you leave. If you aren't able to do this make sure to verify with the airline you are traveling on that your passport meets their requirements for travel to Mexico.

Question

Do people in Cabo speak English?

Answer

Cabo is a tourist hub and almost everyone speaks English fluently. Ask Jacob is you want some Spanish tips. :-)

Question

Should we do the all inclusive option?

Answer

Yes, we highly recommend doing the all inclusive option. We visited prior to booking the wedding and were impressed by the food and alcohol selection available with the all inclusive plan. The all inclusive allows you to order off the regular menu at 6 restaurants as well as poolside.

Question

What drinks are included in the all inclusive plan?

Answer

There is an extensive selection of beer, liquor, wine and non-alcoholic beverages included in the all inclusive plan.

Question

If I select the all inclusive option do I have to do it for the full length of my stay or can I choose to do it for just a portion of the time?

Answer

If you select the all inclusive you must do it for a minimum of 3 days. So if you are coming for a longer stay and would like to do the all inclusive for part of the time and cook in the unit or eat off the property for a portion of the week you do have that option. Each room has a full kitchen with stove, dishwasher and refrigerator.

For all the days along the way
