We're Getting Married!

Jacob and Becky first met virtually when they both swiped right on a dating app! Jacob was living in Madison but working on a project in downtown Chicago when he matched up with Becky who was studying for her MBA a few blocks away at the University of Chicago. They first met in person at the Purple Pig, a wine bar on Michigan Avenue, and continued to see each other whenever Jacob was in town for work. The next two years would include frequent trips to Chicago and Madison, meeting each other's families and friends, fun weekends across the United States, a trip to Colombia and a lot of frustration about not living in the same city. In the fall of 2017 Jacob was approved by his company to move from Madison to Chicago. Becky was so excited they would be starting off the new year living in the same place that she wasn't the slightest bit suspicious that something else exciting might be happening in the very near future. In October of 2017 they were taking a trip to Amsterdam and Jacob decided it would be the perfect time to pop the question. He worked with a photographer in Amsterdam to nail down the perfect location and got down on one knee. Once Becky confirmed that Jacob was serious she quickly said yes and the rest is history!
