OUR TRAVEL ADVICE: Arrival Tips: We suggest getting to the resort 1-2 days prior to the wedding. Most flights to St. Lucia arrive early afternoon (around 2-3pm) Have your passport (number and expiration date) and departure information (flight number and departure date/time) on-hand when you check in. The resort will need this to schedule your return shuttle Departure Tips: Printed boarding passes seem to work easier than digital boarding passes at St. Lucia's airport You have to be at the airport 3 hours before your flight DEPARTURE time. Security tends to go quick since it's a small airport. Plan to be waiting for about 2 to 2½ hours. Hewanorra International Airport

There are no jetbridges at Hewanorra. You'll depart (and board) the plane from a flight of stairs. There is a ramp available for those with mobility concerns TSA PreCheck and Global Entry don't matter in St. Lucia — have electronics ready to remove from your bag, wear flip flops or shoes that slip on and off easily, drawstring or elastic waisted shorts/pants, and keep hats and glasses off There is a waste station right before security to dump liquids (e.g. coffee, water, juice, soda) There is a food court on the second level and a selection of gift shops and duty-free stores in the airport
