Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center

3655 South Snoddy Road, Bloomington, IN 47401

The Dalai Lama's brother (in exile from the Chinese take-over of Tibet) came to Indiana University to teach and established this amazing Tibetan/Mongolian Cultural Center. It's gorgeous! Peaceful! If you are coming down for the whole weekend, definitely stop here! Its free!

The Back Door

207 South College Avenue, Bloomington, IN 47404

"Established in 2016 as a politically minded queer venue, The Back Door is tucked down an alleyway behind a car park. A Golden Girls mural adorns its exterior. Inside, the venue is a cosy, crazy den-like space, with wallscovered in zebra stripes and campy unicorn paintings." -'Living joyously is a radical act': why America's gay bars still matter -The Guardian As an openly out bisexual woman, it really goes without saying this is the bride's favorite bar. Hand's down. Lesbian-owned! Hell yes!

Gather

116 North Walnut Street, Bloomington, IN 47404

At Gather, they've done just that! A woman-owned, artist ran shop that has gathered artists across the county here in this store. The couple is always sure to grab a souvenir from here and it's likely you may have received a post card purchased from this very shop that directed you here!

Bloomington Antique Mall

311 West 7th Street, Bloomington, IN 47404

A historic building right off of the square filled with 3 floors of antiques! Find yourself a little treasure to take home! The bride and groom even purchased vintage Bloomington postcards for some of the wedding invites here! Stop by!
