Shuttle

There will be a shuttle provided from the Bristol Harbor Inn to the wedding venue. It will make two trips and leave promptly at 4:15pm and 4:30pm. Following the reception, there will be a shuttle available to take guests staying in Bristol to their hotels, inns and Airbnbs.
Hotel
We have limited block of rooms at the Bristol Harbor Inn in Bristol, RI. This is a 5-minute drive from the wedding venue and a 30-minute drive from downtown Newport. Note there is a two night minimum. The room block is available only until July 23, 2019. To reserve a room please call 1-866-254-1444 and ask for the Halloran-Coleman Wedding Block. Additional rooms may become available if the block sells out.
Hotel
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Courtyard Marriott in Middletown, RI. This is a 20-minute drive from the wedding venue and a 15-minute drive from downtown Newport. Note there is a two night minimum. The room block is available only until August 9, 2019.
Travel Note
Note that while this isn't peak summer season, it is still a very busy time of year in Rhode Island. We highly recommend booking your lodging well in advance as places tend to fill up quickly. Flight
T.G. Green Airport (Providence) is Rhode Island's airport and the closest to Bristol. It is a roughly 30-minute drive to Bristol. The easiest way to get there is renting a car from the airport or taking a taxi, Lyft or Uber.
Flight
Boston Logan is the second closest airport to Bristol. Flying into Boston can often be the easiest or most affordable option especially coming from the West Coast. There are several options to get from Boston to Bristol. Note that for the transportation options outlined below, you will end in Providence. Providence is 30 minutes from Bristol Renting a car: Renting a car can have you from Boston to Bristol in about an hour and a half. Trains: There are two trains that can get you from Boston Logan to Downtown Providence, the MBTA and Amtrak. For both, you can take the Silver Line SL1 Outbound Shuttle Bus from any terminal at the Arrivals Level to South Station. The shuttle is free and takes about 15 minutes to get to South Station. The first shuttle leaves at 5:35 am each day for those taking red eye flights from the West Coast.
Train
MBTA: The Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority operates a commuter rail train service from Boston to Providence. You can depart from South Station on the outbound Providence/Soughton Line. You'll need a Zone 8 Ticket which is $11.50 each way. You can either purchase at the station or via the MBTA App. Trains depart throughout the day. Two things to note, some trains do not go all the way to Provenience and terminate at Soughton. In addition, if you are buying a return ticket at the Providence station, it is cash only.
Train
The Amtrak Train Station in Providence, RI is served by both Acela Express and Northeast Regional trains, which are part of Amtrak's Northeast Corridor 2 service. From Boston, you'll want the Southbound service. The Acela Express takes about 35 minutes to get to Providence and starts at $30 one way. The Northeast Regional takes just shy of an hour and starts at $12.00 each way. Returning from Providence will be on the Northbound service that originates out of Washington, DC.
Train
Additionally, Peter Pan Bus Lines can take you from either Boston Logan Airport at the Arrivals Level or Boston's South Station to Providence (Downtown), Portsmouth (the town next to Bristol) or Newport. The trip takes between 1.5 to 2.5 hours and one way tickets start at $24.00 when purchased in advance. Additionally, you can take the bus from TF Green Airport to Providence, Portsmouth, or Newport which takes approximately 3 hours. To purchase a ticket, you can either do so online or board the Peter Pan bus at the airport, purchase a ticket at the first stop after the airport.
