Summer and early fall is the busy season in Anchorage for tourism so we suggest booking early. Unfortunately there are not any hotels close to the reception venue so we picked some near the church. Hotels can wind up being pretty expensive so if you are planning to stay longer than the weekend definitely look into and Air BnB or VRBO as you will probably be able to find a better deal.
