It's all happening!

It began with swiping right. True story. This is a fact Aaron finds hysterical and Katie finds horrifying, but we met on Tinder. Aaron asked "What brings you here?" and Katie responded "free food" . Aaron appreciated Katie's wit and realistic response while Katie found Aaron cute and loved that he was a musician. On 3/31/2016 we had our first date, drinks at The Elbow Room in Atlanta and from there, its all history! 4 States, 5 years, and a proposal later, we are so excited to tie the knot!

It was perfect - seriously. Aaron proposed while we were on a backpacking trip in Linville Gorge, outside Asheville, in October 2019. His first attempt was on a mountain top failed horribly (and didn't go down) due to a women named Jan who was "lost" in the woods. His second attempt also didn't go down because he realized he didn't have the ring on him. But third time was the charm (and the only time I knew about) - it was in the morning, after our cup of coffee, he brought me down to the river, and got down on one knee.
