Question

Where & when?

Answer

Our wedding will be held at the Brazilian Room in Tilden Regional Park in Berkeley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 p.m. and will be followed by dinner and dancing until 11:00 p.m.

Question

Where to stay?

Answer

We have reserved a hotel block at the Residence Inn by Marriott located at 2121 Center Street in Berkeley. Reservations through the block are currently closed. Should you wish to stay elsewhere, we recommend the Hyatt Place Emeryville located at 5700 Bay Street in Emeryville or the Claremont Resort located at 41 Tunnel Road in Berkeley. Please note that the wedding will be Memorial Day weekend, so be sure and book lodging far in advance.

Question

Dress code?

Answer

Black tie optional. We invite color! Please note that the ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be primarily indoors. It shouldn’t be too cold that time of year, but please dress for NorCal May (iykyk). If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Question

Transportation?

Answer

The BART system around here is phenomenal, but unfortunately, it does not take you near our venue. We recommend driving or carpooling. The venue has ample and easily-accessible parking directly in front of the venue as well as on the (somewhat hilly) streets nearby. If you would like to order an Uber, please be aware that reception is spotty in the area, though the venue will have Wifi.

Question

Food restrictions?

Answer

Dinner will be served family-style, with some delicious options for our vegetarian and vegan friends (approved of by the meat-free bride herself). Everything will be halal. Please let us know if you have any severely restrictive allergies and we will coordinate appropriately.

For all the days along the way
