We're getting married!

Cody and Ali's love story had an extremely romantic start, quite the movie scene...just kidding, they met the way most millennials do these days...on Hinge. Cody had been on Hinge for just a short period of time before they matched and Ali was on there for...well lets just say, much longer. Despite being sceptical of dating apps, the two were trusting God with their love story, which meant He could work through dating apps. Cody and Ali's first date was at Lost Coffee on a cold Sunday in January. The date was great, even though Ali had to give Cody her number after (because Ali was not clear with how she felt, shocking). Both Cody and Ali left being so touched by the kindness and genuineness of the other person. After a couple months of Cody pursuing Ali during busy season, a week apart while Cody was abroad for military duty, and Ali being very guarded, Cody's love and kindness shined and they two were official in March. The next several months brough lots of hikes, camping trips, time apart for military trips, and date nights to Kate's wine bar. Cody knew right away he was going to marry Ali, but Ali took a little more convincing. After spending the holidays with family in both California and Colorado, Cody got down on one knee at Taylor Park (Ali's favorite place on the planet) and the rest is history. Cody and Ali's love story is a true testament of God's goodness, grace, and provision. Cheers to the future Van Fossens!
