We met as Environmental Policy majors at Virginia Tech and began dating after a few months of sharing notes, trips to the New River and plenty of Makers Mark. After graduation, we went to separate law schools but spent summers together in Washington. After almost a decade together, Brian surprised Lindsay with a proposal at his family's cabin in southwest Virginia.
